Letter by Mirpanjah Zayn al-‘Abidin Khan Hisam al-Mulk to Haji Mirza ‘Abbasquli regarding Hamshirah (the writer's sister), the daughter of Nimtaj Khanum. The writer has kept some of her share of inheritance from her late father, Amir Tuman, with Haji ‘Abd al-Rahim, who has agreed to pay the interest for the girl's expenses. Also, one-fourth of the writer's possessions, kept by Haji Mirza ‘Abbasquli in a chest, belongs to the girl and should be paid to her guardian, Qamar al-Saltanah, and the rest should be divided among the siblings. Marriage contract of Umm Kulsum Banu, thedaughter of Rajab ʻAli, and Muhammad ʻAli, the son of Mulla ʻAbd Allah from Yazd. The mahr includes: two-sixths of the shared ownership of a house, worth ten tumans, clothes worth five tumans, two Shah-mans [each of which is six kilograms] of copper worth four tumans, a carpet for covering a room, worth two tumans, a mirror worth five thousand dinars, some gold and silver, a dowry chest worth one tuman, and two thousand dinars.

Marriage contract of Sakinah Baygum, daughter of Mirza Ghiyas al-Din, and Mulla Husayn ʻAli, son of Muhammad ʻAli Yazdi. The mahr includes half of a house inside [illegible], a garden in ʻIzzabad, two acres of land in the same village, four mans [unit of weight] of copper worth ten tumans, a pair of rugs worth ten tumans, ten tumans for clothes, a chest worth fifteen thousand dinars, a chador, a set of bathing gowns, an inlaid mirror, and gold-made jewelry worth three tumans and five thousand dinars.
